Givenchy French fashion house is a Parisian institution, constantly pushing boundaries with its ready-to-wear and couture collections. Founded in 1952 by Hubert de Givenchy, the brand was ahead of its time even then, introducing a range of separates central to its immediate success. Revered by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor and Jackie Kennedy, Givenchy was the first couturier to create a ready-to-wear collection. Today, under Creative Director Clare Waight Keller – who transferred from Chloé in 2017 – Givenchy continues to ignite surprise and intrigue season upon season, working a dark edge of romance and iconography into a line-up of cult pieces including printed men’s T-shirts, luxe leather and the must-have Pandora and Antigona bags.
